Care
Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wooden wick to approximately 1/4 inch to ensure a clean burn and prevent excessive flickering.
Ensure Proper Placement: Place your wooden wick candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.
First Burn: Allow your wooden wick candle to burn until the wax pool reaches the edges of the container to prevent tunneling and ensure an even burn in future uses. This may take 2-3 hours for larger candles.
Subsequent Burns: Trim the wick before each use and avoid burning your wooden wick candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance.
Extinguishing the Flame: Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish your candle. Avoid using the lid or blowing too hard, as this may cause hot wax to splatter.
Keep it Clean: Keep the wax pool free of debris such as wick trimmings and matches to prevent the flame from becoming too large and causing soot.
Storage: Store your wooden wick candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality and fragrance.
